Zoals je misschien gemerkt hebt was onze site gehackt, dit kwam doordat onze scripts niet up-to-date waren. Maar gelukkig heb ik het kunnen verhelpen. Ik heb de laatste tijd niet meer het Nederlandse gedeelte van Esmeefans.org ge-update omdat ik het eerlijk gezegd iedere keer vergeet maar ik zal in de komende tijd alles inhalen en vertalen van Esmeefans.org.

Sorry voor het ongemak, in de tussentijd kun je de Engelse berichten lezen op Esmeefans.org.

We hebben alle laatste persoonlijke foto’s die Esmée via twitter, facebook en tumblr heeft geplaatst in onze gallery toegevoegd van de afgelopen weken. Ze was druk bezig met het opnemen en schrijven van nieuwe nummers voor haar tweede album en haar zus Daphne -die in Nederland te zien was in Dirty Dancing de musical – heeft haar ook een aantal dagen bezocht in Londen.

Zoals je ziet hebben we een nieuwe layout, het is totaal anders dan eerdere versies maar we zijn er trots op. We wilden een meer volwassen versie omdat het meer gepast leek bij Esmée’s opkomende album. De layout is gemaakt door mijzelf, ik hoop dat jullie het net zo leuk vinden als ik.

Om de nieuwe layout te vieren hebben we een nieuwe fotoshoot toegevoegd. We hebben de shoot al gezien als editorial in Now Magazine maar dankzij Stephan hebben we nu ook de fotoshoot in de gallery. Ze hebben wel een tag, maar zeker het bekijken waard.

We zijn op dit moment de missende updates van het Engels naar het Nederlands aan het vertalen omdat we al een tijdje het Nederlandse gedeelte niet meer hadden ge-update, sorry hiervoor.

Esmée attended the Chipmunk Album Release party on April 22nd. As you all know Esmée and Chipmunk collaborated before with their hit single “Until You Were Gone” which peaked in the top 10 in the UK. We added a batch of photos in our gallery of Esmée during the event.

As we updated before Esmée performed a brand new song during her B.Tempt’d Instore performances called “”All Around the World“. The song is not yet listed at BMI, but I think it’s safe to say Esmée (co-)wrote the song. She has been working in the studio with different (UK) producers for her second album including with Efexx, she even tweeted him they had a hit in their hands, maybe she was referring to “All Around the World“?

For the people who want to add the song to their ipods/mp3 players you can download the live performance of the song via this link. Listen to the audio below. We decided to write down the lyrics, with help of EsmeeDenters1994, of the song for you to read and listen. Do you think it’s a potential hit and do you love the song? It’s not (yet) confirmed the song is going to be the first single of her second album, but it’s most likely it will end up on the album. If you find any wrong lyrics lines, or missing one be sure to comment and we will change it.

Yesterday we updated you with the first released photos and videos of Esmée’s instore performance and meet & greet in Manchester for B.Tempt’d. We manage to find a handful of fan photos of yesterday’s event via twitter, they all can be found in our gallery. If you met Esmée in london last week, or yesterday in Manchester feel free to contact us with your fan encouter and footage for our site, full credit will be given.

To promote the B.Tempt’d campaign and her first and upcoming second album Esmée sat down with multiple (magazine) websites to give a little interview. She recently said down with The Natter in Manchester and Sky Living in London. The previews of the interviews can be found below, and be sure to read the full interview. Especially The Natter interview is worth the read!

Fabulously glamorous with newly blonded curls bouncing around her slender shoulders, Esmée looks like a more attractive version of Lady Gaga without the off-the-wall dress sense. She’s bright, down-to-earth, smiles easily and doesn’t show any diva tendencies, quite the opposite as she tells me of how she was so touched by a fan’s five page letter it made her cry.

Esmee, you were discovered by Mr Trousersnake himself. What’s he like?
“Yeah, he’s great. I just started uploading these cover videos on YouTube and people started talking about me. Then a record company got interested, and he was one of the people that wanted to sign me from the beginning.
